A Glimpse of a Day on the Hill
A Healthy Buffet
If you ever wondered what type of foods the children are served on the Hill, here is a quick snapshot of the lovely spread! Miss Amber decided to provide a beautiful and colorful salad bar that included delicious Hawaiian Rolls, chicken, ham, bacon, croutons, veggies, and fresh fruit! She works tirelessly shopping, planning, and creating healthy yet tasty meals for the children. Just another example of how we continue to be blessed by God each day!
Traveling Zoo Visit
The preschool children had the privilege of having the Traveling Zoo visit today. They could touch, see, hear, and experience a unique variety of animals God has created. Did you know that a hissing cockroach makes the sound using its stomach and antennae to sense its surroundings? Or that any animal within the animal kingdom that has yellow spots means danger? The mini python they saw has been living at John Ball Zoo since 1990. The turtle was found on the zoo’s property roaming and now calls it his forever home! The children were also able to see a Salamander from Madagascar.
How cool is that?
